The Cordova Church of Christ was selected as the Folsom-Cordova Unified School District’s 2011-2012 Faith-Based Partner of the year.

This award goes to those who helped with our GO! projects, Larry’s S.O.S. school beautification projects, Aaron’s work with high school students.  So many have worked in one or more of these projects, so thank you!

While we don’t do our acts of service for the awards and recognition, it is nice to know that our service is making an impression. As one City Council member said, “I see that dove everywhere I go!”

Here is a the award video that was made for the three award recipients; Intel, Mercy Hospital of Folsom, and the Cordova Church of Christ.  Though the video only mentions our work at Peter J. Shield’s elementary school, we have worked with Cordova Meadows, Cordova Gardens, Williamson, Mitchell and Cordova High.
