Singles are a Blessing!!

We believe being single is a blessing and not a curse!! Our group wants to create memorable friendships, have honest faith discussions and make the community around us a little better one day at a time. We meet regularly on Monday Nights at 6:30 for food, honest faith discussions and making life better one day at a time. We’d love for you to join us!! We also have monthly activities that range anywhere from Lake Days to serving breakfast at a homeless shelter. For up to date information on these activities make sure you like us on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/cordovaeaministry/home, or follow us on Instagram, CordovaYoungSingles!!

If you have a moment let me explain three elements that are important to us:

Food– We love to eat. I mean, who doesn’t? Sharing meals is a special part of life.  when you share a meal, when you break bread with someone, you enter a sacred space where friendships are formed, laughs are had and goodness is shared.

Honest Faith Discussions– We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. We love Jesus and believe His hope of forgiveness and resurrection is the best hope offered. We know not everyone believes that and we’re ok with that. We want to meet people where we are and so honesty is a key element to our discussions. Only by being honest with our doubts, fears or even  our joys can faith ever truly develop.

Making Life Better– Jesus came to give us abundant life (John 10:10). An abundant life centered on Jesus comes in many forms. It comes in the loud excitement of playing games with friends. It comes in the hard work of serving the homeless and helping the broken. We don’t want to simply make our lives better through Jesus we want to help others find goodness in their life as well. Whether we’re playing a game or helping someone in need, we strive to be a community which makes life better each and every day.

Thanks for checking us out here, feel free to visit us on Facebook or Instagram. And we really hope you’ll join us for one of our Monday Night Discussions. If you have any questions please contact Kyle Sapp (925)759-5444 and he’ll do his best to answer them.
Blessings Friends!!
